Economics Mini Exam

Had an economics exam today, a mini exam consisting of 20 multiple choice questions from 4 topics. Sounds easy right?

Well, it was not that easy. You see, the way the questions and answers were worded it was extremely confusing. And I wasnt the only one who thought so. 3/4 of the class were asking the lecturer questions cause they werent sure. You see, we have 4 choices, A, B, C and D to choose from. But the way the answers read, it could have been at least minimum, 2 CORRECT answers. So how do you choose??

This is why I hate multiple choice questions. They make so blurred and confusing that you arent sure of which is the MOST RIGHT ANSWER. It shouldnt be like that, it should be ONE RIGHT choice, and the rest are FOUR WRONG ones. Not almost the same, not extremely similar, not 98% correct, NO!!

Not everyone is blessed with the knowledge of PREFECT ENGLISH, and I hate when they use the english language to confuse the students. I hated the exam, and I hate the very idea of making multiple exams so confusing that even the best student in my class was so confused, she thought she had FAILED the paper.

Sucks.

Been Busy and Lazy

Yup, and thats the truth.

I have been busy with studies, and while I still have more than enough time to update my blog, I havent because, yeah, I was just too freaking LAZY.

I am really surprised with myself. We all then to slack off, and turn lazy every now and then, but I have really taken it to a new level. I really became just a lazy ass bum.

BUT no more. I realised that I was really losing it, and am now back on the wagon and trying to rid myself of being a lazy bum. Its hard, really hard, so used to not doing anything, but I got to make it work, cause there is nothing worst than a lazy bum doing nothing.

Eyes open, I'm back on track with studying, exercising, and living my life again!

YO JOE!!!GI JOE, the movie will be hitting the cinemas sometime next year, 2009!! It is being directed by Stephen Sommers, and it is said to be an all "orginal" film. No word on the plot yet, but check out the list of actors/roles thus far -

The trailer for this movie, well, its dark, action based, and looks HELL GOOD!!!

I'm Back!

Yup, after suffering the snail pace world of dail-up, I have finally a few weeks back, re-joined the wonderful world of boardband! It was awfully nice tho, of my internet service provider to provide me with dail-up service until my broadband service was up and running. Am just wondering if I got billed for using it tho.....will have to check on that.

Anyhow, I am back!!!!

And hopefully, this time for a long, long, long time!!

Internet Problems!!

Ha!!

I lost my internet connection sometime in June, due to a miss in a my payment. Thats my fault, I should have been more careful, and paid the bill on time. But as I do not recieve any bills, and everything is sent to my account at the internet provider(which I will call W), which I rarely check, it just slipped my mind. A few weeks later I get a text asking me to call the Billing Department, and when I do, they asked me to pay for 2 months, June and July, eventhough, the July bill wasnt due till the 15th of July, they insisted. Explained I couldnt make the payments, but COULD make a month asap, the asshole on the phone wasnt pleased. I informed him the date I was going to pay, and he unhappily agreed.

A few days later, way before the deadline set, I get a letter from the W billing department, telling me to pay asap OR my account will be passed to their debt collection agency, and a day later, I get another letter from the debt agency. Now thats what I call DAMN FAST SERVICE. Too bad, that we only get this excellent service when they WANT something from you.

I got PISSED OFF, so I told them to FARK off. Turns out, I didnt need to, cause the ASShole has placed my account for cancellation!! And to re-connect my service I will have to pay $160 up front, together with the 2 months. Now, when I first joined up, I paid only $90 buck, and now they want $160? I told them to forget it.

Now, dont get me wrong, W does provide damn good internet service, but their billing department staff, really could learn a leason in CUSTOMER SERVICE! Their other departments that I dealt with, the sales, tech and customer all had really GOOD people working there. But the billing department, man, SUCKS!

So, what else, I move on to a new provider, better plan, and well, I'll let u know on whether this one is good or not. Thus far, dealing with IINET sales and customer service, has been great. Very friendly, and very nice people. I'm gonna try the billing department next.

OH, and yeah, I got the use of dail-up service for now till iiNet get my broadband up and running. I cant wait to start my downloads again!
