Mario's Pizza SUCKS!!

Last night, I decided to have pizza, and after a long discussion, we decided to get it from the nearby pizza joint, called Mario's Pizza. We had pizza from them once before, and it was good, and we expected more or less the same taste from them.



We order one large Mexican pizza (HOT) and a garlic bread, which came up to Aud 15. As I did not have enough cash with me at the time, I decided to pay by Eftpos, and to my surprise, they wanted to charge me a extra Aud 1 more! Now, I hadn't agreed to this, but they had already placed my order and said they cant cancel it as it's being prepared!! (Keep in mind all this is happening in what,about 2 minutes from my order being taken) The reason why there was a 2 minutes delay was because, the lady who took the order had to call her son who was beside her to handle the Eftpos machine, and he took a freaking long time to get over, and tell me there's a extra charge!!



Now if I had order below Aud 10, I can understand the extra charge, but come on, Aud 15, and you still want to make an extra buck from me?? What a rip off!!



The pizza took 25 minutes to finally arrive, and it wasnt great. It was a small sized so-called large pizza and the main, and ONLY ingredient on it was the huge amount of chilly flakes on it!! It was simply amazing, the whole pizza was covered fully with chilly flakes, and each bite, burnt my tongue. I also, went to toilet, 5 times that night, and my ASS was on FIRE!!!

Now I can eat hot food, I LOVE IT. But this pizza was beyond hot, it wasnt fit for human consumption! Mario's, is one pizza parlor that I will never,ever visit again!

Hotel Check In

I've been searching on the web for a hotel to stay at when I go for my one week holiday (My first in 2 years!!) and I am pretty unhappy with one main thing that I have discovered.

Now, I am planning to head off to Albany which is about roughly a 5 hour drive from Perth, and am thinking of staying there for about 3 days, while I explore Albany and the surrounding towns. The thing that I am unhappy about is that some hotels have a check-in time of 4PM, and a check out time of 10AM/12PM, which I believe is pretty unfair.

You are paying for ONE WHOLE DAY, that means 24 hours, and unless I am wrong, a day does consist of 24 hours everywhere else in this world!! To ask someone to check in at 4pm and then get out by 10am, is a HUGE RIP OFF!! Think of how much the hotel will be saving on money by pulling this crap!!

Man, it seems everywhere you turn, someone is trying to make an easy dollar of you nowdays, doesn't it?

Holy War: Gone!

Before my internet service was down, I used to play this online browser game called: Holy War pretty seriously. I enjoyed it, but as time passed without my internet, I sort of loss interest in it.

And now that I have my internet back, I have completely given up on playing Holy War again. Dont get me wrong, its a pretty decent game, but I just felt it was too repetitive, and I loss all interest with it.

Lady Luck really, SMILE MORE!!

Theres a saying, when Lady Luck smiles, you cannot go wrong, as you will have all the luck you need. I do not get lucky, often. In fact, I rarely get to have anything but really bad luck. If I get a bad day, it will only get worse the next day, and really horrible after that, and it will continue for at least a week. When you think things cant get any worse, for me, it ALWAYS does. Anyhow, yesterday was a surprise -

Yesterday was one of the most perfect day that I have had in a LONG, long time. My money came in earlier than expected, my comics were in and I got a nice discount to boot. Got parking at the normal parking complex without the need to wait, or go up and down the levels looking.

Got another parking lot, on the EVER BUSY William street, which was a shocker, especially as I just stopped at the traffic lights, and could see the car in front coming out and leaving a nice parking spot, and despite, 14 cars passing it (YES, I counted!!!) NO ONE took it, and it was MINE!!!!!

I also, managed to cancelled my gym membership, WITHOUT, yes without paying A CENT!!! The normal fees was Aud 350, but somehow, I was given a pass!!!

It was a glorious day for me!




AND then today came. Got shown the finger by an old guy, for no reason whatsoever first thing in the morning as I was driving. Yup, this guy in front of me, turns left at the lights, and shows me the finger. After that, didnt get the sofa/bed I wanted, it was sold out despite the shop openning at 9am, and I got in at 9.04am, 100 sofas SOLD OUT!! Amazing.

Got work hours CUT down to 20 hours, which really sucks as my rent went up by 15 buck and now its really tight to make ends meet.

Amazing isn't it? How one day you can be on top of the world, and the next, your in hell. I only hope, this doesnt get any worse. I really need a break from all this bad luck!

My Farked Up Neighbour

She is seriously driving me up the wall.

She keeps on banging the damn wall for what, god alone knows.

BANG, BANG, BANG, BANG, BANG!!!

Freaking 14 times in a space of 2 minutes!!!

And everyday that she is around!!!

She doesn't work, doesn't do anything, and yet BANGS the farking wall midnight, 11pm, 9pm, 8am, freaking random timing!!!

AHHHHH, I'm complaining to my landlord tomorrow! I have been patient with her, but freaking 3 months going on like this is just ridiculous!!

At first, it was every now and then, but the past month and half, its been daily!! I am really annoyed and fed up with her.

OB2

I still havent attended a single class for my OB2 unit.

I really do not like the lecturer, and am beginning to think I made the mistake of taking this class again. I should have skipped it, but its too late now I think. I'll check on it tomorrow, and see how things go.

Economics Mini Exam

Had an economics exam today, a mini exam consisting of 20 multiple choice questions from 4 topics. Sounds easy right?

Well, it was not that easy. You see, the way the questions and answers were worded it was extremely confusing. And I wasnt the only one who thought so. 3/4 of the class were asking the lecturer questions cause they werent sure. You see, we have 4 choices, A, B, C and D to choose from. But the way the answers read, it could have been at least minimum, 2 CORRECT answers. So how do you choose??

This is why I hate multiple choice questions. They make so blurred and confusing that you arent sure of which is the MOST RIGHT ANSWER. It shouldnt be like that, it should be ONE RIGHT choice, and the rest are FOUR WRONG ones. Not almost the same, not extremely similar, not 98% correct, NO!!

Not everyone is blessed with the knowledge of PREFECT ENGLISH, and I hate when they use the english language to confuse the students. I hated the exam, and I hate the very idea of making multiple exams so confusing that even the best student in my class was so confused, she thought she had FAILED the paper.

Sucks.

Been Busy and Lazy

Yup, and thats the truth.

I have been busy with studies, and while I still have more than enough time to update my blog, I havent because, yeah, I was just too freaking LAZY.

I am really surprised with myself. We all then to slack off, and turn lazy every now and then, but I have really taken it to a new level. I really became just a lazy ass bum.

BUT no more. I realised that I was really losing it, and am now back on the wagon and trying to rid myself of being a lazy bum. Its hard, really hard, so used to not doing anything, but I got to make it work, cause there is nothing worst than a lazy bum doing nothing.

Eyes open, I'm back on track with studying, exercising, and living my life again!

YO JOE!!!GI JOE, the movie will be hitting the cinemas sometime next year, 2009!! It is being directed by Stephen Sommers, and it is said to be an all "orginal" film. No word on the plot yet, but check out the list of actors/roles thus far -

I'm Back!

Yup, after suffering the snail pace world of dail-up, I have finally a few weeks back, re-joined the wonderful world of boardband! It was awfully nice tho, of my internet service provider to provide me with dail-up service until my broadband service was up and running. Am just wondering if I got billed for using it tho.....will have to check on that.

Anyhow, I am back!!!!

And hopefully, this time for a long, long, long time!!

Internet Problems!!

Ha!!

I lost my internet connection sometime in June, due to a miss in a my payment. Thats my fault, I should have been more careful, and paid the bill on time. But as I do not recieve any bills, and everything is sent to my account at the internet provider(which I will call W), which I rarely check, it just slipped my mind. A few weeks later I get a text asking me to call the Billing Department, and when I do, they asked me to pay for 2 months, June and July, eventhough, the July bill wasnt due till the 15th of July, they insisted. Explained I couldnt make the payments, but COULD make a month asap, the asshole on the phone wasnt pleased. I informed him the date I was going to pay, and he unhappily agreed.

A few days later, way before the deadline set, I get a letter from the W billing department, telling me to pay asap OR my account will be passed to their debt collection agency, and a day later, I get another letter from the debt agency. Now thats what I call DAMN FAST SERVICE. Too bad, that we only get this excellent service when they WANT something from you.

I got PISSED OFF, so I told them to FARK off. Turns out, I didnt need to, cause the ASShole has placed my account for cancellation!! And to re-connect my service I will have to pay $160 up front, together with the 2 months. Now, when I first joined up, I paid only $90 buck, and now they want $160? I told them to forget it.

Now, dont get me wrong, W does provide damn good internet service, but their billing department staff, really could learn a leason in CUSTOMER SERVICE! Their other departments that I dealt with, the sales, tech and customer all had really GOOD people working there. But the billing department, man, SUCKS!

So, what else, I move on to a new provider, better plan, and well, I'll let u know on whether this one is good or not. Thus far, dealing with IINET sales and customer service, has been great. Very friendly, and very nice people. I'm gonna try the billing department next.

OH, and yeah, I got the use of dail-up service for now till iiNet get my broadband up and running. I cant wait to start my downloads again!

The Rockstar game

I've been playing this online browser game for awhile now, and it's called The Rockstar Game. It basically you, as a band trying to make it big, or HUGE in the music scene. You start off a lame, talentless musician but with proper training, recording songs, releasing singles and ALBUMS, you will climb up the stairs to SUCCESS!! You also, need to tour, rest when needed and hopefully, break into other countries music scenes!

It based on the points system style game, so all your actions cost you points. Points are given to you each few hours, 3 or 7 points a time, and you cant buy more!! It make the playing field more stable so that newcomers with proper hard playing, can catch up.

Nayagan - Thenpandi Cheemayile

This is an Indian song from one of the greatest tamil movie ever, Nayagan. Nayagan is in the Time Magazine "All-Time 100 Best Films" list, issued in 2005. I was never one to watch Tamil movies, but somehow my dad managed to get me to sit down and watch this with him way back in 1987.

Then, I was still staying in Negeri Sembilan, a state found in Malaysia and I was still in school. We used to rent movies from this VHS rental shop, which was basically a damn hut with a roof on it, and it had the crappiest selection of English movies, but the absolute BEST in Tamil movies. That time, Bollywood was pratically non-existent in Malaysia.

Somehow, thanks to my dad, this was the FIRST tamil movie I watch, and it just blew my mind away. Nayagan gets it inspiration from the Godfather movie, and is changed to reflect the Indian scenario, so it is not a 100% pure copy. There are many differences that make Nayagan an orginal movie on its own.

From the movie, comes the song, Thenpandi Cheemayile on of the saddest songs from Indian movies to date. Below is the lyrics and a basic rough translation,

And I just woke up!

I was put clubbing last night and didnt get in till bout 230AM, and cause I wasnt sleepy, watch a few episodes of Stargate SG1 till bout 450AM before finally hitting the sack.

Damn, I really should NOT be sleeping so late!

Transformers Animated Toys Are Here!!

Oh helly yes!!!

The new line of transformers toys are finally here, after much waiting. The new toy line is from the current transformers anime, called Transformers Animated. The anime started off very well, but as of late, it seems to be slowing down and getting repeative and boring.

ANyways, I bought Optimus Prime (Cybertron mode), Bumblebee, Prowl and Megatron, but as I was short of cash, I put them in layby. I really love this line, as the movie line was a bit of a dissappointment to me. Dont get me wrong, the movie line was unique and refreshing, but they started to sell re-colour and re-packed versions, mean only means one thing: TOO MUCH STOCK to get rid off. And the TF movie line was going on for a damn long time as well.

I still want to get a few more, I hope there's a re-stock soon. I really want to get Starscream and Blitzwing!

Twist of fate

Yes, I have finished all my finals exams for thsi semester, YEAH!!!! Plus, I have gotten recieved my first results already, that I have passed my SHRM unit!!!! No idea on the marks, but my lecturer has confirmed that I have passed. Now the only two left is finance and OB. Thats the good news.

On to the bad news, since I can work full time now, well naturally, I would hope to work the hours that I am looking for (40 hours). Despite hearing that "theres a major lack of workers here, that industries are suffering to find workers" it is still really hard to get a job. Sadly, the reason is one that is old and stupid.

Racist.

The majority claim is we arent, but we are. Most employees want only their own race/colour workers and asians like us are often placed 5 or lower in the chain of consideration, which sucks. ANyway, I still need the hours, and well, here I go searching!

OB2 exam

Ahhhh, my final exam for this semester, OB2 will be held tomorrow. I do so hope I get through this subject as it has been a pain in my backside since this semester started!

Mike: A lost friend

I used to be very close to this guy named Mike when I was back in Malaysia. For some reasons, and also my stupidity to believe others I has a massive fight with him, and since havent spoken to him, or any of my malaysian friends for that matter.

I however, still read his blog to check out how he is doing, and well, he is doing great!! For my friend, I really wish to say, CONGRATS man!!! Took you long enuff to get the girl of your dreams!! Dont let her out of sight, cause your soul mate comes around once. I wish you all the happiness and hope you have a great life.

I am just sad that I have lost you as a friend, and no apologies will ever make up for it. I do miss you man, I miss it all.

Second Final:Finished!

Finished my SHRM3 exam today, which means I have only one more left. and its "that subject". The one taught by the damn wicked witch of tai. I still cant believe that I am paying Aud 2000 fore the damn unit, and get lecturer who cant speak english, cant control the class (scared of the white folks) cant teach for jack's sake, and then they expect us students to pass with high and mighty colours.

HOW??

Anyhows, my SHRM exam went ok, with me answering all the four questions. I am a bit unhappy that my last question only took up 1 and half pages, but I was brain dead! I just need 11 more marks to pass, so cross fingers!!

I have finished my Finance exam today, so thats one I can cross off my list.

I only have to look foward to SHRM3 and OB2, and while I am pretty confident of SHRM3, and I am a wee bit worried bout my OB2.

You see, the lecturer is really biased, and she has constantly pushed my marks down whenever she can. This despite the fact I did the entire group project all ALONE. Yup, you read it right, people in a group, and only one poor schumck did the work.

Yes, I was the damn schumck.

Gawd, I hate the damn OB2 class.

Exam: Tomorrow!!

My finance final exam is tomorrow, and I am as ready as I will ever be. Just got to get my formula sheet ready, and thats it. Time really flies nowdays, and in another week, I would finish this semester.

A month off, and back again to uni. I just hope that I get another job within the month to keep me busy, and of course, earn some more cash!!!!

Knight Rider 2008 (Movie)

Just download and watched the brand new Knight Rider 2 hour one off pilot/movie, and I gotta say, WOW!

Great storyline, damn good looking NEW KITT in the body of a 2008 Ford Mustang GT500KR.

Some extra tit-bits on KITT -

- KITT can average a speed of 191 mph (307 km/h)
- Althought KITT's main power source is solar base, it also uses gasoline, with 91% of the energy being recycled, it averages 167 mpg.
- 550 horsepower solar hybrid engine.
- Metallic paint with nanotech enhanced camouflage including morphing License Plate.
- Self-regeneration and damage repair.

On another note, in the pilot, it is shown that if KITT is deactivated, the self-regeneration mechanism becomes inactive, making it as vulnerable as an ordinary car!!

Mobile Suit Gundam 00

Gundam 00 is the latest instalment in the Sunrise's long running Gundam franchise and personally, I consider it as one of the best gundam series up to date.

Gundam 00 will consist of 2 seasons, with the first season just ending on 29th March 2008 with 25 episodes and the second season starting up sometime in October later this year.The settings for Gundam 00, is that fossil fuels have become exhausted, which lead to mankind looking towards the sun (solar) as new main source of fuel. Hence three orbital elevators have been built, with each one belowing on one of three main powers (Union, Human Reform League and Advanced European Union) in the new world.

However, due to the lack of fuel, and the three main powers controlling the supply, numerous wars have began. Wars for fuel sources and wars started by either one of the three to conquer other countries spread through out the world. This is were, Gundam 00 starts. It introduces a four party to the mix, called Celestial Being which seeks to end all wars through Arm Interventions. It is Celestial Being, that carries all Four Gundams featured in Gundam 00.

The four Gundams are Exia GN001 (Melee, Sword expert), Dynames GN002 (Guns, Sniper expert), Kyrios GN003(Flight,Speed,Bombardment) and Virtue GN005 (Mid Range Weapons, High Powered Beam Weapons). Also, note that, missing from the line up is GN004, which was later shown in the series, to be another Gundam, hidden within Gundam Virtue itself.

Virtue, under duress, can purge it's armor, and undergoes a system change, to become GN004 Nadleeh. Nadleeh carries with it a very unique ability, which causes any other mobile suits in the vicinity while the system is activated are able to be controlled and completely shutdown as long as they are equipped with Veda OSes.

Gundam 00, I would give it a 9 out 10. Highly recommended as the storyline is great, plus the graphics are really top notch.

Had to wake up really early for my tuition class, and I had only gotten some 3 hours of sleep, so I am really beat.

Plus, also to note, I havent been posting alot. In fact, this is the third post thus far. I did plan to publish one everyday, but with everything happenning, and my gawd forgetfulness, I am surprise I havent completely forgotten bout this blog all together!!

HA! The hair cut experince from hell!!

Yes, I finally went and got a hair cut.

And it hurt.

The damn stylist was really rough, and every single time she used the comb or siscors, it cut into my scalp and it freaking hurt as!! It was felt like someone with really sharp finger nails, just poking you, so try it out for a whole 34 minutes and see if hurts.

And what did I pay for this wonderful treatment?

$22.50....what a rip off.

I had deleted everything in the past, and it took a year or more to come to the decision of re-starting a new blog.

The old one was getting dying, and instead of letting it die a slow painful death, I ended it. Swiftly.
