I am sure you all have heard of joy bidders/buyers before, but have anyone else experienced a joy seller? I can only assume it's still happens on a smaller scale compared to the joy buyers, but it does happen.
What is a joy seller you might be asking? Well that a moron who promises to sell to you, only to later on, change his/her mind and not sell to you. There are reasons as to why this happens, some are pranks, some get better offers and some are generally asses.Let me tell you bout my experience with one.
I wanted (still want) to buy the updated version Clarion car player made for the Waja which can play MP3s, as mine had the previous model which was a normal player. The reason I wanted a Clarion version was that the controls on the steering wheel will only work on this particular Clarion model.
So I posted an ad asking anyone who wanted one, to let me know plus the price. I get a reply from this moron, Ben a few days later, and AGREE to pay $250 for the player. The only catch was I had to drive for 3 hours to his place and get it, which I was fine with. So I drive up, and waited at the agreed spot.
Then, the moron, does not answer his phone, sms and in the end swtiched his mobile off. So I had just wasted alot of petrol, 3 hours...make that 6 hours, toll fares both ways and do not forget the wear and tear of driving for 6 hours.
Next day, the moron texted me, saying he got a better offer, so he sold it to his friend. WTF, could you not have told me that before?! I didnt have to waste my time and money for nothing!!
Argh, joy sellers. This guy had no respect for his own promises and me. I wasted my time and money which I will not make back, and I did not even get an apology. If ever, I meet this guy or find him selling anything, he is blacklisted from my book, and I'll email the farking website to inform them of my experience with him!
